Four Nightingale children, each with different background, were finding their ways to survive in their highly segregated Nightingale Floating City. Singers, they were privileged, much respected, the glory of the Nightingale family. Peasants, they were lowborn, extremely deprived, the scoundrels that "make trouble if you don't feed them well". As the confrontation between singers and peasants was getting heated than ever, Edith, Cadence, Cavina and Steifan found themselves caught up in the simmering tumult, each reaching their own epiphanies after a chain of gruesome events: Not everything was black and white. Perhaps things just might not be what it seemed from the facade.
